IS-8000 Iotrex Solidifier
The IS 8000 is a product that solidifies liquid radioactive waste associated with Iotrex Radiotherapy Solution, a component of the GliaSite Radiation Therapy System. Each IS 8000 consists of a 125 mL square Nalgene bottle (polycarbonate) with a screw top closure and self-sealing injection septum. Each bottle is filled with 100 grams of BondAids (Ceramicrete™).
